Crush Photo Studios collaborated with The Living Room Salon (reality show’s OC Housewives’ exclusive hair salon and our neighbors across the street) to create an amazing pre-Valentines Day project, “Sinner or Saint”. They provided the hair and make-up and of course we did the photography. It was quite a pleasure to work with such a friendly and talented staff. Next time you’re in need of beauty services, stop by The Living Room Salon, you may never know who you’ll run into.

What do you get when you combine Crush Photo Studios with stunning Indian fabrics and efforts to end and raise awareness for human trafficking? You get the September 25th, 2009 International Princess Project, and I was the event photographer. Set at the beautiful Shore Break Hotel, the evening included photographing delicious Indian cuisines, luscious cocktails, compelling dance performances, henna tattoos, live performances, a fashion show, and not to mention the Punjammies’ bazaar. It was definitely an eventful evening! For more information about this organization, please visit International Princess Project.

We had the privilege to photograph one amazing event, Kid Cudi’s Album Release Party at the Playhouse Club in LA. It was a night of stars! Kid Cudi entertained us with his musical abilities. Ashley from the Pussycat Dolls graced us with her personality. And our very own, Monica (wearing the vest and sunglasses), touched us with her beauty while discussing her new project, starring in an upcoming reality show. Take a good look at her face, because soon enough it will appear once again…and Crush Photo Studios will be here in the process to keep you all posted.

It was quite an honor to be selected as the wedding photographer for Lindsey’s and Ahren’s destination wedding, located at the very first Adobe built in California, in Monterey. The festivities were celebrated among Lindsey’s family and friends from Canada and Ahren’s from Northern California. The newlyweds are currently beginning their lives together in Costa Mesa, but next on their list is to relocate to San Jose and establish a local pub. The wedding was truly a success! I had a wonderful time with them, their family, and friends…and wish them a lifetime full of love, happiness, and success!

You may know him as Special Agent Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, but to his mother and the many other sufferers of multiple sclerosis, he’s truly a special agent. After his mother’s diagnosis of MS, Moore combined his passion for biking with his mission to raise awareness of the disease. To discuss his efforts, he recently met with ABILITY Magazine, and I had the opportunity to photograph him at his beautiful Los Angeles home for the spread.

Crush Photo Studios with Virginia Madsen
That’s right, I said it…I can’t wait to get old! After hearing about the new collaboration between Golden Globe and Academy Award-nominated actress, Virginia Madsen, and her mother, Elaine Madsen, I Know a Woman Like That, I truly achieved a new perspective on the idea of aging. While photographing Ms. Madsen for the ABILITY Magazine spread, she explained that as long as one remains engaged in life, aging is a wonderful experience. Well said Madsens!

Remember that 80’s (maybe it was the 70’s) comedy Laverne and Shirley? It was a spin-off from Happy Days that always began with Laverne (the one who had the letter ‘L’ monogrammed on her blouses) and Shirley skipping down the road, arm in arm, chanting “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!” Will…I’ m honored to say that Crush Photo Studios had the opportunity to photograph Squiggy from the show! He was the one who always said “Hello” in that recognizable, nasally voice. The shoot was for a spread in ABILITY Magazine, where he discussed his journey through life with multiple sclerosis (MS). I didn’t know this prior, but, he actually kept his MS a secret for most of his profession in order to prevent jeopardizing his Hollywood career.
